Renée Smith Events has worked with the volunteers at Cascade K-8 for the past 10 years, since helping them host their first ever auction fundraiser. The funds raised are necessary to provide a camp experience for all students, a core part of the school’s program. Due to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, this event was forced to go virtual, and was one of the first. We launched the virtual event about 60 days after the original event date. We set up the auction platform for Silent, Live and Paddle Raise and developed and produced the livestreamed event using volunteers, livestreaming software and equipment.
